Introducing a Spiritual Workshop, February 20-24 (Sun.-Thurs.) featuring Dr. Eddie Bhawanie of Atlanta, GA. Dr. Bhawanie specializes in Christian apologetics (the science of answering questions about and giving justification for Christian faith) and is a dynamic teacher. Sunday meeting times are the normal ones, Mon.-Thurs. meeting times are 7pm nightly.

The Chibana Church of Christ is a group of diverse people held together by a common love for God and desire to follow Christ. We are ordinary people being transformed by the extraordinary power and love of God. We invite you to come visit us at any of our worship services or Bible studies (times listed above) or any other event listed in the event calendar.
Our purpose is to REACH people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, INVOLVE them in the fellowship of believers, and help DEVELOP their faith so they can effectively WORSHIP God and SERVE in His kingdom. The Chibana church is made up primarily of English-speaking members from the military bases on Okinawa, but also works cooperatively with local Japanese-speaking churches. The Logos Church of Christ is a Japanese-speaking church which we host in our building as an outreach to the local community.

Our prayer for you is the same as Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:16-19: "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." |
